# Processing your own subscribe form with the API

> Design your subscribe form in HTML and add the sign-ups to your list in the background via the Laposta API.

If you build your own subscribe form in HTML, you can have the subscriptions processed via the Laposta API. The API automatically adds the details to your list or lists in Laposta in the background. You can also have the entered details validated via the API.
