# Configuring authentication at JouwWeb

> Add the Laposta DNS records at JouwWeb via Manage domain names and Edit DNS.

You can read which records you need to add in [Authentication with your domain provider](/authenticatie-instellen-bij-je-domeinprovider#which-records-to-add).

1. Log in to [JouwWeb](https://www.jouwweb.nl/inloggen).
2. Go to the DNS settings via Mijn Sites (My Sites) → Mijn Abonnement (My Subscription) → Domeinnamen beheren (Manage domain names) → Wijzig DNS (Edit DNS).
3. Add the records you received from Laposta.
4. Check whether a DMARC record already exists. If not, create one using the details you received from Laposta.
5. Save the DNS settings. It may take a few hours before the changes are active.
