# Configuring autocomplete for the fields in your form

> Form fields have the autocomplete attribute set to on by default. With a paid account, you can choose a value per field yourself, once the helpdesk has activated this feature for you.

To meet digital accessibility requirements (level AA), fields in a form must include an [autocomplete attribute](https://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG21/Techniques/html/H98). This attribute tells the browser what type of data belongs in a field, so it can be filled in automatically for your subscriber. By default, form fields in Laposta have this attribute set to the value `on`.

> If you have a paid account, you can set a value for each field yourself. Please send an email to [helpdesk@laposta.nl](mailto:helpdesk@laposta.nl) if you would like to use this feature. The helpdesk will then enable it for you.

## Configuring autocomplete per field

Once the feature has been activated for you, you will see the ‘Autocomplete’ selectbox when creating and editing a field. You can find your fields via Subscribers → Settings → Fields, where you can choose from the [permitted values](https://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG21/#input-purposes) of the WCAG guidelines.

For each field, select the value that best matches the content of the field. If you cannot find a suitable option, select ‘General autocomplete on’.
