# Importing your own HTML template

> Add a reusable template from your computer, a URL or as HTML code.

> **Note**
>
> If you have a complete newsletter that you only want to send once, rather than a reusable template with editable sections, it is better to import it as a regular campaign. See: [Importing a ready-made newsletter](/hoe-importeer-ik-mijn-nieuwsbrief-vanaf-internet).

## Adding a template

Once your HTML template is ready, you can add it to your own templates as follows:

#### Go to your imported templates

Go to Campaigns → Templates → Import.

#### Start the import

Click ‘Import new template’ and then ‘Start import’.

#### Name your template

Enter a name. Your template will be listed under this name in the overview.

#### Choose the source and provide your template

Choose how you want to add the template:

* ‘Import from computer’: select the file on your computer. You can include images by uploading everything together as a zip file.
* ‘Import from internet’: enter the URL where your template is located on the internet.
* ‘Enter HTML’: paste your code or build your entire template directly in Laposta.

## Placing stylesheets inline

When importing or entering your code, you can tick the option to have Laposta automatically place your stylesheets inline. This is necessary to ensure your newsletter displays properly in several major email clients, particularly Gmail and Outlook.

## Viewing, editing and testing your template

Click the ‘Preview’ link to see what your template looks like. You can still edit the code in Laposta using the HTML editor. If you have modified your template outside of Laposta, you can simply import it again.

Afterwards, check that your template works properly: see [Testing your imported template](/moet-ik-het-geimporteerde-sjabloon-nog-testen).
