# Connecting Lightspeed to Laposta

> Install the app to automatically synchronise customers with marketing permission to your lists.

Lightspeed is a Canadian company that provides Point of Sale solutions and online software for creating and maintaining an online store.

With this integration, customers who indicate in Lightspeed that they want to receive a newsletter are automatically added to Laposta. After that, you can email those customers a weekly offer, for example.

## Setting up the integration in Lightspeed

You set up the integration in Lightspeed itself:

#### Open Apps in Lightspeed

Click on ‘Apps’ in the navigation bar on the left.

#### Find the app

Enter ‘Laposta’ in the search field at the top right.

#### Install the app

During the installation, indicate whether you want to transfer all of your existing customers to Laposta straight away. Once this is done, the integration is set up.

## How does transferring customer data work?

Only customers who have given consent to receive marketing emails are transferred to Laposta. You can tick the box for this consent under the customer details in Lightspeed.

Changes are synced roughly once every 15 minutes. If you want to synchronise straight away, click on the ‘Refresh’ icon on the Combidesk integration page ([https://combidesk.com/integration/lightspeed-laposta](https://combidesk.com/integration/lightspeed-laposta)).

## Costs

This integration was developed by our partner Combidesk and costs 5 euros per month, with a free 14-day trial period. Using Laposta is free for up to 2,000 subscribers.
