# Using and editing the standalone subscribe form

> Share your form via a subscribe link and customise the fields, text, design and thank you page.

When someone clicks the subscribe link, the standalone subscribe form opens on a separate page, independent of your website. You can find the link via Subscribers → your list → Enrich → Subscribe. Share it on your website, in your email signature or on social media such as Facebook and LinkedIn, for example.

Once someone fills in the requested details and clicks the button, a thank you page appears. The email address and any other entered details are automatically added to your list.

You can edit the form and the thank you page yourself, without any technical knowledge. If you have had double opt-in activated, you can also edit the confirmation page here.

## Adding extra fields to the form

The fields in your subscribe form come from Subscribers → Settings → Fields. This is also where you add new fields. For a new field, ‘In form?’ is already enabled. You only need to change this if you do not want to show the field in the form.

## Editing the text and design of the form

Go to Subscribers → your list → Enrich → Subscribe and click ‘Start’ under ‘Standalone’, even if you are already using the form. In step 1 you edit the subscribe form, and in step 2 you edit the thank you page. If double opt-in is enabled, a step for the confirmation page is added in between, giving the process three steps in total.

Click on an element in the form to edit its design:

| Element                  | How do you edit it?                                                                                             |
| ------------------------ | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| The form itself          | Click on the form to change the background.                                                                     |
| The logo                 | Click on ‘Logo’ to add your logo. Use the arrow in the bottom right corner to enlarge or reduce the image.      |
| The header and intro     | Change the text, font and colours.                                                                              |
| The fields               | Change the text, font and colours for each field individually.                                                  |
| Field visibility         | Set whether a field is shown and required. You can re-add invisible fields later via the ‘Hidden fields’ block. |
| The button at the bottom | Change the text, font and colours.                                                                              |
| The order of the fields  | Drag and drop the fields in the form.                                                                           |

## Editing the thank you page

You format the thank you page in the same way as the form. If you prefer to thank your new subscribers on a page on your own website, enter the URL of that webpage and tick the box to redirect new subscribers.
