# Configuring the interface language

> You can use the application in Dutch, English, German, or Spanish. You can configure the language yourself.

The application is available in four languages: Dutch, English, German and Spanish. Laposta is developed in the Netherlands and the helpdesk operates in Dutch, but this allows a colleague or department abroad to work in the same environment in their own language.

You can configure the language yourself under ‘Settings’, on the ‘Language’ tab. You can edit your login, password, email address and name elsewhere. You can read how this works under [changing your login yourself](/waar-kan-ik-zelf-mijn-login-veranderen).

The language of the application is separate from the language in which your subscribers see your messages. You can configure the language separately for your lists, sign-up forms and default texts. For more information, see [the adjustments when using another language](/welke-aanpassingen-moet-ik-maken-als-ik-een-andere-taal-gebruik).
