# Having your newsletter translated automatically with a translation link

> Place a special link in your newsletter that allows recipients to read the webversion in another language.

You can have your newsletter translated automatically via Google Translate. To do this, place a special link in your newsletter. Anyone who clicks it will see the web version of your newsletter in the selected language.

## Adding a translation link to your newsletter

Suppose you also want to offer a Dutch newsletter in English. You then create a regular link with a special URL behind it.

#### Type the text your recipients can click on

For example, type 'Read in English'. You can also place the link behind an image, such as an English flag.

#### Turn it into a link

Select the text, click the button to create a link, and enter this general URL:

#### Enter the language code

Replace `[language]` with the code of the language in which the newsletter should be displayed, in this case `en` for English. The URL for English is then:

You can find other language codes you can use [in Google's overview](https://developers.google.com/admin-sdk/directory/v1/languages).

> **Note**
>
> With this link, your newsletter is translated automatically by Google Translate. Neither you nor Laposta have any influence over the translation or its quality.

If you prefer to write your newsletter in another language yourself, you can adjust the language of your list, your forms, and the default texts in your newsletter in addition to the text itself. You can read how to do this in [Adjustments when using another language](/welke-aanpassingen-moet-ik-maken-als-ik-een-andere-taal-gebruik).
