# Straightening a rotated image

> In the image editor, you can rotate or straighten an image that is on its side or upside down.

Sometimes an image ends up the wrong way round in your newsletter, even though it looks fine on your own computer or mobile phone. This happens because the file was saved in a rotated orientation: your device recognises this and automatically displays the image the right way up.

You can straighten the image in the [image editor](/afbeeldingen-bewerken). Hover your mouse over the image and click ‘Edit image’. Select the ‘Transform’ tool and rotate the image using the arrows below it.
