# Moving data between Laposta accounts

> Which elements you can and cannot transfer to another account and how to do this.

All information in an account is interconnected. As a result, you cannot take everything with you if you want to transfer items from an existing account to a new account, such as an extra account from a [management environment](/wat-is-een-beheeromgeving). If you are switching from Mailchimp, please follow [Switching from Mailchimp](/verhuizen-vanuit-mailchimp).

## What can and cannot be transferred?

| Lists                          | Yes, with an export and an import                                                                 |
| Templates                      | Yes, from your management environment, by re-importing, or via the helpdesk                       |
| Campaigns                      | Only as a template from the drag & drop editor                                                    |
| History per subscriber         | No, this is lost when exporting and importing                                                     |
| Segments                       | No, you can export them to Excel, but you have to configure the settings again in the new account |
| Results of campaigns and lists | No                                                                                                |
| Automations and their results  | No                                                                                                |
| Sign-up and update forms       | No, you have to recreate these in the new account                                                 |

## Transferring lists

You can [export](/kan-ik-mijn-relatiegegevens-eenvoudig-exporteren) your lists from the existing account and then [import](/hoe-importeer-ik-een-groot-relatiebestand) them into the new account.

If you want to transfer not only the active subscribers, but also the unsubscribed subscribers, follow this order:

#### First import the unsubscribed subscribers

Import the file containing the subscribers who were unsubscribed in your old account.

#### Unsubscribe those subscribers yourself

Select the email addresses you just imported and unsubscribe them in your new account.

#### Then import the active subscribers

Import the file containing your active subscribers now that the unsubscribed subscribers have the correct status.

## Transferring templates

How you transfer saved and custom templates to your new account depends on your situation:

| ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| You have a management environment                                                                     | Export the template from that environment to the new account                                                     |
| You work with your own HTML template that you imported from the internet                              | Import that template again into your new account                                                                 |
| You work without a management environment with your own or a saved template in the drag & drop editor | Ask the helpdesk via [helpdesk@laposta.nl](mailto:helpdesk@laposta.nl) to export the template to the new account |

## Transferring campaigns

You can only take a campaign with you if you create it in the drag & drop editor. Save the campaign as a template in step 4 (while filling in the template) and transfer that template as described above.
