# Accepting and downloading the data processing agreement with Laposta

> How to accept the data processing agreement, download it as a PDF, or have your own agreement reviewed.

Because an email address is personal data and you cannot send a digital newsletter without an email address, it is necessary for you to enter into a [data processing agreement](/wat-is-een-verwerkersovereenkomst) with Laposta. There is one version for free use and a slightly different version for paid use.

## Accepting and downloading the data processing agreement

You do not need to sign the data processing agreement separately. Laposta's terms and conditions and data processing agreement apply to your account. You accept both when requesting your account, and Laposta sends them as attachments in the confirmation email for your new account.

Would you like to read or save the agreement again later? Go to Subscription → Documents, where you can also download it as a PDF.

## Having your own data processing agreement reviewed

Does your organisation have its own (template for a) data processing agreement? Only with a paid subscription can Laposta review and sign the proposed agreement, and answer detailed questions about the agreement.

With mailcredits, you are not entitled to the extras of a subscription (such as integrations, Joe, SSO and your own data processing agreement): with free use and with mailcredits, deviating from the standard data processing agreement is not possible. This is because reviewing, completing and signing agreements takes up experts' time and involves extra tasks and responsibilities.
