# What is Laposta?

> With the newsletter software Laposta, you can design and send campaigns, manage your subscribers, create subscribe forms, and connect your own software via the API.

With Laposta, you can design newsletters to match your own brand identity and send them to your entire subscriber database at once. You work in your browser: you add your logo, images, links, and links to your social media, and you personalise the email using the details you hold for your subscribers. Before sending, you authenticate your domain to ensure your emails are delivered reliably.

You manage all your subscribers in one place, whether they are customers, suppliers, or employees. You can organise them into lists and segments, and have a [subscribe form](/hoe-kom-ik-aan-een-aanmeldformulier) generated to collect new sign-ups. Via [the API](/wat-is-een-api), you can also connect your own software, such as the package you use to keep track of your contacts. And with integrations, you can connect Laposta to your online shop, CRM, or website.

With [automations](/wat-is-automation), you can set up flows that automatically send an email as soon as a subscriber takes an action or a specific date approaches. For example, a birthday campaign automatically sends birthday wishes to subscribers on their birthday. You can see how your campaigns and automations are performing in [the statistics](/welke-statistieken-registreert-laposta-van-mijn-nieuwsbrief). The first results come in immediately after delivery.

A [data processing agreement](/wat-is-een-verwerkersovereenkomst) applies to the processing of personal data, which you accept together with the terms and conditions when requesting your account. The servers are located in the Netherlands and Laposta is ISO 27001 certified.
