# How are tags from Teamleader transferred to Laposta?

> Tags you have assigned to contacts in Teamleader can be used directly in Laposta to email a portion of your contacts.

Tags that you have assigned to contacts in Teamleader are automatically transferred to Laposta. You do not need to do anything for this, and you can immediately use them to [segment](/hoe-segmenteer-ik-op-basis-van-relatiegegevens) your list so you can email a selection of your contacts.
