How do I find all my subscribers who have not opened my newsletter?

You can find all sorts of statistics relevant to your campaign on the Results page. However, you cannot find everything there, for instance: which subscribers have not opened your newsletter. Sometimes. it can be useful to reach out to these subscribers once again.

Before you do so, it is important to realise that our application cannot always register if a newsletter has been read. This is because it registers this using an invisible image that is attached to your newsletter. If the recipient's email client has turned off retrieving images, we cannot register if your newsletter has been opened. This means that among the subscribers who are registered as not having opened the newsletter, some will have still seen it (just without images). You can read more about the Open ratio here.

To retrieve the subscribers who have not opened your newsletter, you can create a segment. To do so, go to Subscribers (select the list) → Segment, and create a new segment. You can now create a segment based on Campaign results. In the drop-down menu, select a criterion under Opened: for instance, subscribers who have received but not opened the last campaign, or all subscribers who have not yet opened a campaign.

After saving the segment, you can see which subscribers are included in it by clicking View in the list of segments.

You can now use the segment you created in your next campaign. Imagine you want to resend your last newsletter to this segment. You can copy the campaign in the Campaigns tab, and select the segment you just created in Step 2.
