Where can I find the edit form?
The edit form can be found in your account on the page Subscribers (click list) → Enrich → Edit.
The edit form is a separate form that is displayed on a separate page (not on your website). You can refer to the form via a special link, the edit link. If your subscriber has filled out the edit form, your thank-you page is shown.
To alter the edit form and it's thank-you page, click 'Start' under 'Standalone edit form' (even if you already have a form and just want to edit it). You will see a step-by-step guide on how to edit your form. You alter the edit form in step one, and you can edit the thank-you page in step two.
By clicking the relevant items, you can alter the layout:
- Click on the form to edit the background.
- Click 'logo' to add your own logo. Wit the arrow under your logo on the right (in the form), you can resize the image.
- You can change the heading and the intro underneath the heading in text, font, and colour.
- All of the fields showing can be edited in text, font, and colour.
- You can also indicate if these fields will be shown and/or are mandatory to fill in. Afterwards, you can easily re-add invisible fields to your form (under 'Hidden fields' which appears when you make a field invisible).
- The button on the bottom of the form can be edited in text, font and colour.
You can change the order of the fields by dragging them.
If you have a technical background, you can also add CSS to the subscribe form yourself.
Please note:
- When preparing the edit form, it is good to know that the settings on the page Subscribers → Settings → Fields are the basis of your form.
- Completely new fields should be added to the form on this page (i.e. the page Subscribers → Settings → Fields). When creating a new field, you have to check the box that you want to display the field in your forms.
- After your subscriber adjusts their data through the editing form, these changes are automatically implemented into your list.
