Step 3: Choose a template
In step 3 you decide which template you want to use to create the newsletter.
You can choose from several ready-made templates, which you can further customise in terms of structure and design, using the drag & drop editor in step 4.
- The basic templates contain different structures for a newsletter, the elaborate templates also contain different fonts, blocks and colours.
- Click the ‘Preview’ link (below each template) to view it in a separate window.
Select the template of your choice and then click on the ‘
To step 4’ button.

Why use a template?
A template defines the structure and design of a newsletter. With a template you avoid having to redesign each newsletter in your own branding. You might consider preparing different templates for different types of campaigns (types of newsletters).
What about a custom template?
Can't quite create the template you want? Do you feel like you're lacking inspiration? If you have a paid subscription, our designers can develop a custom template for you. You can find more information about this in your account, under Campaigns > Templates > Drag & drop.
Have you had a Joe-type custom template developed for you? In that case, select your own template on the relevant page, in the box 'Imported templates - for special editor'.
