Setting the design of a block as default
In our editor you can design blocks in detail. You can copy settings to blocks of the same type (in your entire newsletter, or just the relevant column). Another option is to set the design to default. Doing this ensures that for every new block you drag into your newsletter, your preferred design is applied.
For the Button block, you can adjust, the font, (background) colours, and border radius.
However, if you drag a new block into your newsletter, it will have a default - bare - design. You have to set up the design again, or copy another button's design (click the link at the bottom of the page to read how you can do this).
A better solution is to save the button's design as default. You can do this for any type of block. To do so, go to the Design tab, and click 'Use this design for new blocks'.
You will see the option to set up the design as a default.
When you have done this, new blocks will have the exact same design. You can also restore the basic default design for the block.
You can apply this to any type of block, for instance a Text block:
You can save a design as default, and any changes to the design, at any time when you're designing blocks. For example, if you have changed the button's colour and you want this to be the default for new buttons, click ' Make this design the default for this type of block' again.
