Is it advisable to include only images in my newsletter?
We always recommend putting text with the images. Most email clients do not display images by default. Images have to be loaded by your subscribers first. Without text, it may not be clear to your subscribers what your message is. Some will lose interest sooner.
By adding text, your subscribers will be more tempted to load your images (view the web version). Texts also help your message to come across directly and increase the possibility of your subscribers clicking on a link to your website, for example.
Therefore, make sure that your newsletter also looks interesting without (loaded) images. Images in your newsletter should be considered an addition to your text. (On many mobile phones, including the iPhone, images load immediately).
A second disadvantage is that spam filters look at the proportion of text to images. If the proportion of text is low, the email is more likely to be qualified as spam.
