How the editor works
Naming
Under the tab Automations, click on the button 'New automation'. You can give this new automation a name first. Choose a name that is meaningful and recognizable to you.
If you want to change the name later, you can do so by clicking on the current name in the top left.
The automation consists of two parts: the start event (when is this automation put into action?) and the content of the automation (what happens?).
Start event(s)
To define how the automation starts, click on 'Add startevent'. You can now choose between different types of start events. Follow the screens here. A block with a short summary will appear when saving the automation.
You can add several start events. You can change a start event by clicking on it, and delete it by clicking on the little cross that appears when you move the mouse over the block.
Look here for to learn more about different starting events.
Content (building blocks)
Content of the automation, i.e. what happens after it starts, can be added by dragging building blocks from the left side of the screen to a plus sign in the middle.
Once a block has been added, you can edit its content by clicking on it. When there is a red line around the block, the content is not yet correct.
You can pick up blocks that were already added and move them somewhere else.
You can find a description of each building block here.
Undo/redo
You can undo and redo any change (e.g. adding or deleting a block or changing its settings). To do this, use the Undo and Redo buttons at the top of the screen.
