How do I edit an email in an automation?
You can edit the emails in an automation (even if they have already been sent) by clicking on 'View emails' for the relevant automation and then clicking on 'Edit again' next to the email.
There are a few things to keep in mind:
- When you start editing, your automation will be paused to prevent a draft of your email from being sent to your subscribers.
- The results still apply to a single email, even if it has been modified (multiple times).
- If you change the content of the email, the web version of previously sent emails will also change.

Because of the last two points, it is not possible to choose a different template for the email you want to modify. If the changes are extensive, it is better to make a copy and modify that instead. Meanwhile, the automation can remain active. When you are done with the changes, edit the automation (select the copy of the email instead of the original).
Do not forget to activate your automation again after making changes!
