Start automation on changes

This start event lets the automation start as soon as a field of a subscriber is changed. For example, if the field 'Purchase made' is changed to 'Yes'.

Which list?

Select the list for which the change should be made here. You can also choose 'Any list', in which case it does not matter in which list the change is made.

Which field?

Select the field that should be examined here. You can also choose 'Any field', in which case it does not matter which field is changed.

If you do choose a field, you can then specify whether each change to this field should start the automation or whether this should only be the case for a specific value.

Source

Changes to a list can occur in several ways. If necessary, select the source these changes need to comply with here:

  • Anywhere: source does not matter;
  • This program: the change only counts if it is done within the Laposta application;
  • Outside this program: the change only counts if it is done outside the Laposta application, i.e. via an external registration form;
  • Via the API: the change only counts if it is made via the API.

Several times or just once?

Normally, an automation runs only one time for the same subscriber. However, if you indicate at Run that it may run multiple times, the automation will be started each time the specified change is met.
