Can I export a newsletter from Canva?
If you have created a newsletter using Canva, you can unfortunately not straightforwardly send it using Laposta.
There are three options to still send your newsletter from Canva with Laposta:
- The best course of action is to rebuild your newsletter with our drag & drop editor. The result might not be 100% similar, but it will be a modern newsletter that is alright technically, and that will be displayed correctly in all email clients, including small screens (responsive)
- Another option is to export your newsletter from Canva as a PDF file. You can easily 'attach' this file to a very simple Laposta newsletter. You only have to write a little bit of text in the drag & drop editor, with a link to your file.
- A third option is to export your newsletter from Canva as an image in a .png-file. You can place this file into Laposta as an image. A .png-file gives a better quality display than a .jpg-file.
- If you display this image over the full width of your newsletter (600 to 200 pixels wide), the recipient will only see the preheader and the image of your newsletter. Many email clients do not directly show the images in a newsletter, which can mean that a recipient does not immediately see the content of your newsletter. Therefore, we always recommend adding text to your newsletter.
- It's better to use the image (.png-file) as a link to a bigger file (for instance, a PDF) that contains your newsletter. You can read here how to make an image into a link.
