Click ratio
The click ratio shows the percentage of newsletters where subscribers have clicked through a link in your newsletter at least once. This percentage is calculated in relation to the total number of accepted newsletters.
How can Laposta detect that clicks have taken place? Every link in your newsletter is first routed through our servers. There we register the click before sending the visitor on to the actual location.
The click ratio is always lower than the open ratio (because clicking in a newsletter is also considered opening it). The level of the click ratio is of course dependent on the nature of the links in your newsletter, the number of links, and their arrangement.
A click ratio of 10% is fine. 10% implies that, on average, 10 out of 100 subscribers click through via your newsletters.
Privacy
Keeping track of the reading and clicking behaviour of your recipients is an important source of information, but it does entail an invasion of their privacy. Laposta has various settings for this. You can read more about this under 'Tracking and reporting'.
