Template
Wikipedia defines a template as 'a graphic form intended for repeated use'. In a newsletter program, a template refers to the basic model or layout of your newsletter.
You can use a template with layout to add text, images and links to your newsletter. By using a template, you don't have to re-create your new newsletter every time. It will save you effort, but more importantly, a template makes your newsletters look consistent.
In a template you define, among other things, the layout of boxes and columns, the heading, the (background) colour and the font type and font size of your newsletters.
You need a template for every newsletter campaign. Do you want to send different types of newsletters or are your newsletters intended for completely different target groups? In that case, you can, of course, create and use different templates.
Essentially, you have four options:
- First, you can choose from one of the dozens of ready-made templates in our Template Gallery. These templates are designed especially for our customers and are free for you to use. You can find the ready-made templates in your account on the page Campaigns → Templates → Drag & drop. You can further edit a ready-made template.
- In the Template gallery you will also find a number of basic templates for our drag & drop editor. These basic templates allow you to build your design from scratch.
- Third, you can import and set up a self-made template. This template must be in HTML format. Import your templates on the page Campaigns → Templates → Import.
- And lastly, you can have us create a customised design for you.
