Can I send invitations with Laposta?

Yes, you can also use your newsletter as an invitation, for instance for a convention or get-together. Additionally, you can use the subscriber form in Laposta for this purpose.

If you want to send an invitation, and make use of a Laposta (standalone) subscribe form, you can follow these steps:

  1. Create a new subscriber list in your Laposta account.
  2. Optionally, you can add additional fields, for instance to mention workshops or activities that you offer.
  3. Go to your new subscriber list and use the tab 'Subscribers > Edit settings (of the relevant list) > Enrich' to get to the standalone subscribe form. You can edit this form as you see fit. Do not forget to also edit the thank-you page. When you are satisfied with the text, settings, and layout of your form, click 'Save'.
  4. Next, you can copy the link to the standalone subscriber form. Tip: If you are using the link that ends with '&email={{email}}', you subscriber's email is immediately shown when they sign up.
  5. Finally, paste the link to the standalone subscribe form in your newsletter/invitation.

Do you want to send your new subscribers an automatic confirmation email? You can use a simple automation for this, which works the same as an automatic welcome email.

N.B.: when signing up for an event, you can also choose the edit form instead of the subscribe form, which allows your subscribers to enhance their profile, in this case by signing up to an event. You can read here how to change the edit form
