What content blocks can I use in the drag & drop editor?
In the drag & drop editor, you can drag several content blocks into your campaign (or template). While filling in your template, you can see the 'Blocks' tab on the left side of the screen. In this tab are 11 different types of blocks that you can drag into your newsletter. To drag a content block, put your cursor on the block, click and hold, move your cursor to the right, and release the block where you want to place it.
When you click on a block in the newsletter, you can change its content, design, and (usually) its settings. After editing, click either Save or Cancel. After this, you will see the content blocks overview on the left side of your screen again. To go to this overview, you can also click the exterior of the newsletter.
Columns
A Columns block allows you to create a vertical distribution in one block (row) of your newsletter. You can choose two, three, or four columns. You then drag one of the other content blocks, like 'Text' or 'Image' into this block. For mobile display, you can even choose to distribute columns horizontally (responsive) or vertically.
Here you can read everything about the applications and functionalities of the Columns block.
Text
In the Text block, you can enter a title and text under the Content tab. You can turn the title into a link by typing the URL, or by pasting it in the field under the title that has the chainlink icon. You can alter the text in the wysiwyg editor. In addition to editing text, you can create links, personalise text with subscriber variables, and create a text link to a file.
With the Design tab, you can set up the title layout, text, block, or outside for the mobile and desktop displays. Furthermore, you can indicate if you want to hide the block in mobile and/or desktop display, if you want to copy the design to all other blocks of the same type (or, if your text block is in a column, all blocks in that column block), and if you want to use the design as a default for new text blocks you create.
In the Settings tab, you can indicate if you want to hide or show the block's title in the table of contents. If you do not add a 'Table of contents' block to your newsletter, these settings are irrelevant.
Do you want to go back to the content block overview and the options for global design? Save the block or click the newsletter's exterior.

Text with image
You can use the Content tab in a Text with image block to add an image and text. If you click the text, you can alter the block. You can upload an image, and paste or type a link behind the image, or add an alt text, if desired. In addition to editing text, you can create links, personalise text with subscriber variables, and create a text link to a file. If you want to put a title above a text, you have to add a Title block (read how to do this below).
With the Design tab, you can set up the image's formatting, the text, and the exterior of the block. You can also indicate if you want to hide the block in mobile and/or desktop display, if you want to copy the design to all other blocks of the same type (or, if your text block is in a column, all blocks in that column block), and if you want to use the design as a default for new text blocks you create. Tip: if you do not want the text to wrap around the image, use a column block and place a text block and an image block in that.
In the Settings tab you can determine if you want the image on the right or left side of the text.
You can find more information on adding images to your newsletters here.
Title
Under the Design tab, you can set up the design for the title, block, and exterior. You can also indicate if you want to hide the block in mobile and/or desktop display, if you want to copy the design to all other blocks of the same type (or, if your title block is in a column, all blocks in that column block), and if you want to use the design as a default for new title blocks you create. This design only applies to headings in a Title block, not to headings in a Text block.
In the Settings tab, you can indicate if the title should be hidden or shown in the table of contents. If you do not add a 'Table of contents' block to your newsletters, these settings are irrelevant.

With the Design tab, you determine the layout for the text, block, and exterior for mobile and desktop display. You can also indicate if you want to hide the block in mobile and/or desktop display, if you want to copy the design to all other blocks of the same type, and if you want to use the design as a default for new table of contents blocks you create.
Social media
You can use a Social media block to add icons or texts that refer to your own social media. This block is meant to invite your newsletter's recipients to follow you. Select your social media by adding icons in the Content tab, using the 'Add medium' button. Next, use the 'Show details' link to fill in the right URL and text. You can change the icons' order by dragging them with the arrows (on the right side of the icon). You remove an icon by clicking the small 'x' to the right of the icon.

Share
A Share block allows your recipient to share the newsletter's web version via social media. First, select the link that you want to share (the web version or another link to the newsletter). A link is then automatically generated in your newsletter. Your subscribers can use this link to share the newsletter with their own social media. Check to see if it looks and works correctly with Preview.
With the Design and Settings tabs, your options are similar to those for the Social Media block.
