When do you choose mailcredits instead of a subscription?

If you send fewer than six to eight newsletters per year, mailcredits are cheaper than a subscription. You purchase mailcredits whenever you want to send a newsletter, and you do not pay any additional subscription costs.

If you stay within the limit of 2,000 subscribers with a free account, you do not need a subscription or mailcredits. You can read more about this under the limitations of the free account.

You can find the prices on Laposta’s website and on the page Laposta’s rates.

How do mailcredits work?

One mailcredit stands for one newsletter sent to one subscriber. So for one newsletter sent to 3,500 subscribers, you need 3,500 mailcredits. If you send four newsletters to 3,500 subscribers, this will cost you 4 x 3,500 = 14,000 mailcredits.

Mailcredits are valid indefinitely. In your account, you can see the exact number of mailcredits you have purchased and used.

Purchasing mailcredits

You can purchase mailcredits yourself at any time with a single click on the ‘Subscription’ page. This works in the same way as converting your free account to a paid subscription.

You can also send an email to helpdesk@laposta.nl, and the helpdesk will update your account for you.

If you end up sending newsletters more often than expected, you can still switch to a subscription. Read what a paid subscription includes and how the price for it is determined.
