Can you delete subscribers to stay on a free account?
Laposta is free for organisations with up to 2,000 subscribers. Deleting lists or subscribers to stay below that limit is not allowed. Otherwise, organisations with many more subscribers would also be able to use the programme for free.
That is why Laposta looks not only at your active subscribers, but also at the number of unique subscribers in your account. These are all the different email addresses that have ever been added to your account, even if you deleted them again later. An address that you remove therefore still counts. You can read what exactly is included in active and unique subscribers in Limits of the free account.
Cleaning up to keep your list healthy is a good idea, though. To find out how to clean up subscribers who never open or click, read Easily deleting inactive subscribers.
What happens if you exceed 2,000 subscribers?
If you have, or have had, more than 2,000 active or unique subscribers, your account will not be converted automatically. You can then choose between a subscription and mailcredits yourself. If you only send a newsletter occasionally, read Mailcredits instead of a subscription.
You can read how the price of a subscription is calculated in Rate group of your subscription.
