When does automatic termination occur due to inactivity?

Laposta deletes an account that has not been used for a very long time. This is mainly because, under privacy legislation (GDPR), Laposta is not permitted to continue processing personal data without a valid reason. If you wish to stop using Laposta yourself, read how you can cancel your subscription or delete your account.

Before Laposta deletes your account, you will first receive an email. This gives you the opportunity to prevent your account from being deleted. For a free account, this happens in three steps. Logging in at any point is enough to keep your account.

Stage	What happens
When you have not logged in for 600 days	You receive an email asking whether you want to keep the account.
21 days later	You receive a second email with the same message.
14 days after that	If you have not logged in or responded, Laposta permanently deletes the account. You will receive an email about this.

Once an account has been deleted in this way, Laposta cannot restore it either. Of course, you can always sign up for a free account at account.laposta.org.
