Configuring autocomplete for the fields in your form

To meet digital accessibility requirements (level AA), fields in a form must include an autocomplete attribute. This attribute tells the browser what type of data belongs in a field, so it can be filled in automatically for your subscriber. By default, form fields in Laposta have this attribute set to the value on.

If you have a paid account, you can set a value for each field yourself. Please send an email to helpdesk@laposta.nl if you would like to use this feature. The helpdesk will then enable it for you.

Configuring autocomplete per field

Once the feature has been activated for you, you will see the ‘Autocomplete’ selectbox when creating and editing a field. You can find your fields via Subscribers → Settings → Fields, where you can choose from the permitted values of the WCAG guidelines.

For each field, select the value that best matches the content of the field. If you cannot find a suitable option, select ‘Algemene autocomplete aan’.
