Editing the fields in the embedded form

The fields in your embedded sign-up form come from your list: at least the email address, often the first and last name, and all the extra fields you have created yourself via Fields for extra data. By default, all these fields are included in the form.

Editing the settings and order of fields

In the form editor, click on a field. The settings will appear on the left-hand side under the ‘Content’ tab.

Show placeholder instead of labelWhether the text is placed above the field, or in grey inside the field itself.

You can change the order by dragging the fields in the form to the desired position.

Setting the text on and above the submit button

Above the submit button, there is space for a short text, such as a reference to your privacy statement. Click on the button in the form and go to the ‘Content’ tab on the left. Here you can edit the text on the button itself and fill in the ‘Text above button (privacy statement)’ box. Use the formatting bar to add a link.
