Adding extra CSS to your form
If you want to customise more than is possible with the design options in the editor, you can add your own CSS to the page. This works the same way for the standalone subscribe form and for the edit form: while designing, click ‘Add CSS’ at the bottom of the page.
For the edit form, this link is not only available for the form itself, but also for the request page and the thank-you page. You therefore set the CSS separately for each of those pages.
Which CSS can you add?
You can add CSS rules for any element on the page. First view the source code of the generated page to see how the HTML is structured.
The CSS you add is loaded last on the page. As a result, your rules override the existing rules from the editor.
The CSS is filtered for security reasons. Because of this, some rules may not end up on the final page. If a rule does not work as expected, first check whether it has been removed by the filter before editing the rule itself.
