Connecting Zapier to Laposta
Zapier is an automation platform that connects to thousands of applications, from Gravity Forms and Gmail to Salesforce and HubSpot. Without any programming knowledge, you can automatically send information from those applications to Laposta, and from Laposta to all those other systems.
For the most commonly used connections, ready-made Zaps are available under Use ready-made Zapier connections. You can also create a connection yourself, for example to:
- tag a message in Gmail to add it to a list in Laposta
- automatically add new contacts in Salesforce to a list
- pass the content of a Gravity Form on to Laposta
Connecting your Laposta account to Zapier
Before you can create a connection, you need to link your Laposta account to Zapier once.
Enter your API key
In the screen that appears, enter the API key for your account. See: Create an API key.
Creating a Zap
In Zapier, a connection with another system is called a Zap. In the menu on the left, click on ‘Zaps’ and then on ‘Create Zap’ to create one.
Every Zap consists of a trigger and an action. The trigger is the event that sets the connection in motion, usually in the other application, such as adding a contact to an administration system. The action is what happens next.
Laposta can be the starting point or the end point of a Zap:
Zapier costs
Zapier offers a free version. The number of Zaps in it is unlimited. However, there is a limit on the number of tasks per month and the number of steps per Zap. You can find the exact details on the Zapier pricing page.
