Drafting a privacy statement for your newsletter
Transparency regarding the processing of personal data is one of the most important elements of the GDPR. You provide this transparency by drafting a privacy statement. In it, you must explain what you do for each way in which you process personal data, including collecting data for your newsletter. You can read about what you also record with Laposta itself under the data processing agreement with Laposta.
The statement must be written in clear, understandable language. According to the GDPR, it must at least include the following:
- identity of the organisation;
- legal grounds for processing personal data;
- purpose of the processing;
- duration of storage;
- right of access, rectification, and erasure of personal data;
- rights regarding complaints.

Newsletters
You can subscribe to our newsletter via our website. The personal data you enter (email address and any other fields) will only be used by us to send you our newsletters. This data will never be provided to third parties.
When you receive a newsletter, our newsletter software may record when it is opened and which links, if any, are clicked.
Viewing, editing, or deleting data
At the bottom of every newsletter, there is a link that allows you to unsubscribe directly. You will then no longer receive any newsletters. Every newsletter also includes a link that allows you to edit your details.
When you unsubscribe, your data may not yet be permanently deleted. If you wish for this to happen, you can send us a request to do so.
