What is Single Sign-On (SSO)?
With single sign-on (SSO), you give users secure access to multiple applications using a single set of login credentials and one SSO application. You can also log in to Laposta this way, for example via Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, or SURFconext.
Single sign-on is only available for paid subscriptions. It costs 195 euros per year plus a one-off setup fee of 195 euros, both excluding VAT. If you would like to know more about this or want to have single sign-on activated, please contact the helpdesk at helpdesk@laposta.nl.
Activating single sign-on
Once the helpdesk has set up your account for single sign-on, each user on the account must still link themselves individually to the identity provider.
Once single sign-on has been set up for your account, you can no longer log in with a login and password.
Connecting with Entra ID (formerly Microsoft Azure)
As soon as the first user in your organisation connects with Entra ID, an enterprise app is automatically created there. You do not need to create this app manually. Sometimes, global admin consent still needs to be granted for it.
This connection only handles logging in. If you also want to import names and email addresses from Entra into your account, use the separate integration Connect Microsoft Entra.
Logging in with single sign-on
After connecting, you can log in in two ways:
- Go to https://login.laposta.nl/single-sign-on and click your provider’s button.
- Use the direct link for your provider. You can also include this link in your organisation’s dashboard:
