Sending a birthday email a few days early
A birthday email does not have to arrive on the day itself. Sending it a few days early can be more convenient, for example if you offer your subscriber a discount or a small gift in your shop that will come in handy on their actual birthday.
You can set this up in Step 6: Setting the send time of your birthday campaign. First, you choose the start date and the time of day, and then whether you want to send the email on the birthday itself or a number of days before.
If you send the email a few days early, you can use the birthday variables in your text for the day of the week and the number of days before.
