Configuring authentication at Hostnet

To see which records you need to add, read Authentication with your domain provider.

  1. Log in at mijn.hostnet.nl.
  2. In the bar in the top left, click on ‘Diensten’ (Services).
  3. In ‘Mijn dienstenoverzicht’ (My services overview), click on the domain for which you want to configure authentication.
  4. On the next page, select ‘DNS wijzigen’ (Edit DNS). This will take you to your DNS management panel.
  5. Click on ‘Record toevoegen’ (Add record) and enter the two CNAME records. If Laposta also specifies a DMARC record (TXT), enter that one as well.
  6. Click on ‘Opslaan’ (Save). As long as the yellow message appears below your records, your changes have not yet been saved.

Once you have added the records, activate the authentication in Laposta.
