Why is your campaign stuck in the queue?
The status ‘Queued’ means that your campaign is ready to be sent, and that Laposta has not sent it yet. For a regular delivery, this only takes a moment. If the campaign remains on this status, something else is holding up the delivery. You will usually not see the cause in the campaign itself, but in your account.
Unscheduling, rescheduling or copying the campaign will not help. Doing so may leave multiple versions of the same newsletter ready to be sent, with the risk that it will be sent twice later on.
Possible causes if your campaign remains in the queue
In order of how often they occur:
- Your account has not been approved yet. Laposta reviews every new account first. Campaigns that are in the queue will be sent automatically as soon as your account is approved. You do not need to do anything again. See: Activating your account without a confirmation email.
- You have run out of mailcredits. Without enough credits, the delivery will not start, or it will stop halfway through. Top up your credits via Subscription → Price. You can read how to proceed after that in Insufficient mailcredits to send.
- There is a sending block on your account. This is caused by the limit of 2,000 subscribers or by a check after an import. In both cases, you will see a message including your account number when trying to send.
- The delivery is scheduled or delayed. Check the selected time in step 6. If you have used delayed sending, that option deliberately spreads the delivery over a longer period.
The campaign is stuck at Laposta
If your account has been approved, you have enough credits and there is no block on your account, then the campaign has got stuck at Laposta. Unscheduling, rescheduling and copying the campaign will not solve this. This rarely happens, and usually only when many deliveries are being processed at the same time.
Before sending an email, check your balance and your number of subscribers under Subscription → Price, and check the status of the campaign under Campaigns → Overview. Then contact the helpdesk and mention your account number and the name of the campaign. If you include your balance, your number of subscribers and the status, the helpdesk can usually see straight away what is causing the issue. If the campaign has got stuck at Laposta, the helpdesk can restart the delivery.
