Can subscribers unsubscribe on your own website?

Your subscribers always unsubscribe via the unsubscribe link in your newsletter. Afterwards, your subscriber sees the Laposta unsubscribe message and confirms the unsubscription there. Unsubscribing directly on your own website, bypassing Laposta, is not possible.

Why does unsubscribing always go through Laposta?

Laposta is responsible for ensuring that every unsubscription is processed properly. If your website is temporarily offline or unsubscribing is not set up properly there, the unsubscription cannot be processed in your list and that subscriber will continue to receive newsletters.

You can make the unsubscribe message recognisable by adding your own logo. You can also ask the unsubscribing subscriber to provide a reason afterwards.

Forwarding subscribers to your website after unsubscribing

After confirmation, you can forward your subscribers to a page on your own website, or someone else’s. There, for example, you can make an offer or ask for the reason for unsubscribing yourself.

Go to Subscribers → Enrich → Unsubscribe and enter the address of the page you want to send the subscriber to. If you leave this blank, your subscriber will not be forwarded and the Laposta unsubscribe message will remain on screen.
