Preparing the edit form

The edit form for profile enrichment adopts the fields and language from the list it belongs to. If you configure those settings first, you will not have to go back while designing the form to create an extra field or change a language. After that, you can design the form.

1

Choose the list you are creating the form for

Select the list you want to create the form for. An edit form always belongs to a single list. It allows your subscribers to update their data in that list.

2

Set the language of the list

Choose the language of the list via Subscribers → Settings → General. You can choose from Dutch, English, German, French or Spanish.

3

Create the fields you need

Create completely new fields via Subscribers → Settings → Fields. There, you can also rename and permanently delete fields. When designing the form, you can only show or hide fields and rename them.

Setting the edit form to another language

If you change the language of the list, not everything is translated automatically. If you want to display the entire form in another language, you can adjust these elements yourself:

ElementWhere to adjust it
Field namesSubscribers → Settings → Fields
Default messagesWhen designing the edit form
Text of the request and thank-you pageWhen designing the edit form

For example, a visitor will see a default message if a field is left blank or filled in incorrectly. Your subscriber will see the thank-you page after saving the data.

If you use more parts of your account in another language, view the overview of all adjustments for another language.
