Why are role-based addresses like info@ not imported?
Role-based addresses are email addresses linked to a specific role or system. Often, there is no specific individual behind such an address, but rather a group of people or an entire department.
Laposta excludes a number of these addresses from automatic import, because they can lead to more bounces and spam complaints. That is harmful to your sending reputation (deliverability) and that of other users. Moreover, if a file contains many role-based email addresses, it is more likely to have been purchased, and legally you are not allowed to use a purchased file to send newsletters.
Which addresses can and cannot be imported?
Not every role-based address is excluded. Addresses like info@ have become so common that there is often a specific person behind them.
Adding an excluded address anyway
Such addresses can subscribe themselves via your subscribe form. If you are sure there is a specific person behind such an address, you can also add it to your list manually.
