Restoring the unsubscribe link in your newsletter

Has the unsubscribe link disappeared from your footer? You can easily restore it using the ‘unsubscribe’ variable. You can do this in the text editor in step 4 of your campaign:

Go to where the link used to be

Click in the footer at the bottom of your campaign, in the spot where the unsubscribe link was previously located.

Open the Variables menu

Click ‘Variables’ above the text area of the editor.

Choose unsubscribe

Select ‘unsubscribe’ from the drop-down menu. The unsubscribe link is now back in your footer.

The same drop-down menu also contains the webversion and edit links, which you can restore in the same way. To find out why the unsubscribe link must be included in every campaign, read the unsubscribe link is required.
