Selecting the recipients in step 2

After entering the basic details, you decide who will receive the newsletter. Tick one or more lists, segments or labels, or a combination of these. Next to each line, you will see the number of active subscribers, with the total shown at the bottom. This way, you can immediately see how many subscribers you are sending the newsletter to.

The 2. Select recipients screen showing a ticked list and the number of active subscribers

Would you like to check which subscribers are in a list or segment first? Go to ‘Subscribers’, select the list and click on ‘View’. Via Subscribers → Segment, you can create a new segment or edit an existing one. You can read how to set up selection rules there in Segmenting based on subscriber data. If you do not have a list at all yet, start with Creating a new list.

If a list has labels, you can tick one or more labels instead of the entire list. The campaign will then be sent to everyone with at least one of those labels. You will immediately see how many subscribers this involves.

Duplicate email addresses across multiple lists

If you tick multiple lists or segments, the same email address may appear in more than one selection. Laposta automatically deduplicates these addresses when sending, so nobody receives your newsletter twice.
