What is Fresh view Pro?
Fresh view gives feedback on your newsletter before you send it, using the same principles for every account. With Fresh view Pro, Laposta tailors this feedback completely to your organisation. This is intended for organisations that use Fresh view regularly and want the feedback to align with their own style guide, target audience or brand identity, such as local councils, schools and organisations with their own tone of voice.
Tailoring the feedback to your organisation
The existing sections of the feedback are tailored to your organisation. Among other things, you can specify:
- The tone and form of address, for example always using informal language rather than formal language (such as ‘je’ instead of ‘u’ in Dutch).
- The reading level, for example B1.
- The terminology: words you actively use and words you prefer to avoid.
- What is important to know about your target audience.
- The brand identity rules that Fresh view should look out for.
- What Fresh view needs to pay less attention to, for example the design if you work with a fixed custom template.
In addition, you get two things that are exclusive to Fresh view Pro:
- An extra section in the feedback email with its own title, on a topic of your choice (for example, a standard check for plain language) and in your own brand colours.
- A polished feedback email in your brand colours, featuring your own logo at the top and the name of your organisation.
More detailed feedback and examples
With Fresh view Pro, the feedback is more thorough. While the standard feedback stays brief for each section, Fresh view Pro goes into greater depth on the points you have agreed upon. If your newsletter deviates from your style guide on five points, all five points will be listed, each with a concrete alternative. So you do not get a summary, but a list you can get to work with straight away.
Two examples of organisations already using Fresh view Pro:
- Achterhoek VO secondary school group: Fresh view Pro checks whether every newsletter pays enough attention to the school’s three core values: ‘You are seen’, ‘You can do it’ and ‘You choose your own path’.
- Municipality of Nijmegen: Fresh view Pro checks whether the text matches reading level B1, so that the newsletters are accessible to all residents.
What stays the same
The structure of the report is fixed and is the same for everyone:
- The fixed sections, the scoring scale and the layout of the email do not change.
- It is not possible to have the feedback email technically customised.
What you provide
You start with a description of your requirements: what is important to know about your organisation and your target audience? Anything else that helps with this is welcome:
- A writing guide or a style guide.
- Your brand colours.
- Examples of previous newsletters.
- Previous correspondence on this subject.
You can supply documents as a PDF or as an image.
Requesting and setting up
If you would like to know whether Fresh view Pro is right for your organisation, please send an email to the helpdesk at helpdesk@laposta.nl.
From request to going live, the setup process takes place in four phases:
- Intake: you email your requirements and your documents to the helpdesk.
- Setup: Laposta configures Fresh view Pro based on what you have provided.
- Review: Laposta tests the result and fine-tunes it with you until it is right.
- Live: from that moment on, everyone in your account receives the tailored feedback.
What it costs
The setup costs a one-off fee of 395 euros. After that, you pay 295 euros per year. Both amounts are excluding VAT.
